How to Import Your UGC Media to a Collection

Introduction

In addition to sourcing posts from the social media platforms, Feefo Social lets you import media which are suitable for publishing in an album. You can import single or multiple files and add them to one or multiple collections at once. Through this, you can create a more inclusive platform for your customers and build trust among them for your business.

 

To Create a Collection via Import Media

1. Log in to your Feefo account.
2. Click into Feefo Social.
3. Go to Collection > All Collections. Your collection list will open.
4. Click Add at the top right. An overlay will open.
5. In the Add Feed overlay,
   1. Add a name of your feed
   2. Select Import Media as the source from the dropdown.
6. Once done, click Add.
7. The loader screen will appear.
8. Next, you will land on the collection screen.
9. Click the three-dot menu icon on the right and select Upload Media from the dropdown.
10. In the Upload Media overlay, Choose a method to upload. The Upload File is selected by default.
11. Click Upload a file to add files from your local storage.
12. Add description if required.
13. Click the Upload media button to finish importing the videos.
14. If you add multiple files at once, it will be imported as a carousel post.
15. After importing the videos, click Publish. A prompt screen will open.
16. You can choose to curate your feed or proceed to publishing. Select the platform to to publish your collection and follow the on-page instructions.
17. You can preview your collection before publishing.

 

To import UGC Media to a specific collection

Open the Manage Collection page by clicking a collection title under All Collections.

1. Find the colllection you wish to add to.
2. Click the ellipsis next to the collection you wish to add to and select Import Media. 
3. In the Upload Media dialog, you can add files in the given format from your local storage. Click Upload a file to pick the media, add their description, and click Upload Now.
4. To upload a large library of media at once, you can use the Upload CSV File option. Select the CSV file to upload, add a description, and click Upload Now

You can download the sample CSV file by clicking the link and using the same format for your CSV file to upload images correctly.

Your new media will appear in the Imported Posts section from where you can add it to any collection.

You can also

1. Click the ellipsis next to the collection you wish to add to and select Add Additional Media. 
2. In the Upload Media dialog, you can add files in the given format from your local storage. Click Upload a file to pick the media, add their description, and click Upload Now.
3. To upload a large library of media at once, you can use the Upload CSV File option. Select the CSV file to upload, add a description, and click Upload Now

To import UGC Media to multiple collections at once

1. Go to Collection > Imported Posts on the side panel.
2. Here, you can find the imported posts. So, if you have already imported any files to a specific collection using the above method, they will appear in the Approved tab.
3. Else, you can click the Upload Media button and follow the steps to import files.
4. In the Approved tab, go to a post and click Select Collection. A drop-down with collection names list will open. Check the box where you want to add media and you're done.
