Moderation
Accessing Moderated Content
To manage and review moderated comments, follow these steps:
- Click your avatar in the top navigation panel.
- Select Control Panel from the dropdown menu.
- Click Moderation.
In this section, you can view reported and hidden content, allowing you to take appropriate actions.
Viewing Reported and Hidden Content
The Moderation page provides the following information for each piece of content:
- User: The name of the user who posted the comment.
- Group: The group where the comment was posted.
- Discussion: The discussion in which the comment appears.
- Comment: The content of the comment itself.
This gives you all the necessary context to make informed moderation decisions.
Moderation Actions
From the Moderation window, you have two main actions you can take on reported or hidden content:
- Restore Content: If you decide the comment does not violate any guidelines or the issue is resolved, you can restore the content to make it visible again.
- Ban the User: If the user has violated community guidelines, you can choose to ban the user from posting further content.
Ensure you make moderation decisions according to your community's guidelines and rules.
