Introduction

The Advanced Tab provides granular control over the general appearance, behaviour, colours, and user-generated content (UGC) submission experience of your Feefo Social gallery. These settings are crucial for integrating the gallery seamlessly into your existing website and brand design.

All settings below are located within the Advanced Tab of the Curate Dashboard.

 

Gallery Settings

These settings define the dimensions, performance, and general visibility of various gallery components.

Setting Type Description
Width Pixels (px) Sets the fixed width of the gallery container in pixels. Default is 800px.
Height Pixels (px) Sets the fixed height of the gallery container in pixels. It is 1000px by default. 
Scroll Speed Number Defines the speed at which the gallery scrolls or transitions between items. Lower numbers typically indicate slower speed.
Scroll Interval Number Defines the time interval (in milliseconds) between automatic scrolls or transitions, if auto-scrolling is enabled.
Tilt angle Degree Incline your collection left or right by mentioning a degree. Normal input will tilt the feed to the right. You can prefix the degree with a minus (-) sign to tilt left.
Custom CSS Enter Custom CSS Allows you to input custom Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) code to override default styles, ensuring complete brand alignment.
Show Post Caption On or Off Toggles the visibility of the original social media caption/text associated with the post below the image.
Show Products On or Off Determines if the linked product information (e.g., product overlays) is visible on the gallery posts.
Show Products on Modal On or Off Determines if the linked product information is visible within the pop-up/modal window that appears when a user clicks a post.
Show Hotspot Products On or Off Toggles the visibility of interactive hotspots (clickable dots or areas) on the image that directly link to products.
Show Powered by Feefo On or Off Toggles the display of the Feefo branding/logo within the gallery footer or corner.
Flag inappropriate On or Off Enables a button or mechanism allowing users to flag posts they deem inappropriate or offensive.
Split Carousel On or Off

When using a carousel layout, toggles whether the content is split to show a partial view of the next post, indicating more content is available.

 

Gallery Colours

These settings control the colours of various text and graphic elements within the main gallery display.

Setting Type Description
Background colours Hex Code Sets the overall background colour for the gallery container.
Background transparency $1 - 100$ Sets the opacity of the gallery background, where 100 is fully opaque and 1 is nearly transparent.
Stars Hex Code Sets the colour for any star rating graphics displayed in the main gallery view.
Verify Badge Hex Code Sets the colour for the verification badge (e.g., a checkmark) indicating a verified customer or source.
UGC text Hex Code Sets the colour for general UGC text (e.g., author names, light captions) within the gallery.
Date and Time Hex Code Sets the colour for the date and time stamp associated with each post.
Description read more colour Hex Code Sets the colour for the "read more" link/text used to expand a truncated post description.

 

Gallery Site Uploads

These settings manage the functionality and appearance of the button that allows users to submit their own content directly through your website.

Setting Type Description
Show button On or Off Toggles the visibility of the "Upload Content" or "Submit UGC" button on the gallery.
Button style Button or Tile Chooses the presentation style for the upload call-to-action (CTA): a standard Button or a decorative Tile.
Enter svg code SVG Code Allows you to paste SVG code to use a custom graphic or icon for the upload button/tile.
Button Text Text on the button Defines the text that appears on the visible upload button (e.g., "Submit Your Look").
Description Text Backend text This is internal text for organisation or reference, typically not visible to end-users.
Button colour Hex Code Sets the background colour of the upload button.
Button text colour Hex Code Sets the colour of the text displayed on the upload button.
Show Step One On or Off Toggles the initial Step One of the content submission process, usually the user agreement or selection of upload type.
Show Popup Header On or Off Toggles the visibility of the header (title/logo) within the UGC submission pop-up window.
Show Rating Section On or Off Toggles the visibility of an optional rating section within the UGC submission pop-up, allowing users to rate the product while submitting content.

 

Popup settings

These settings control the behaviour and visibility of elements within the post pop-up/modal window that opens when a user clicks on an image in the gallery.

Setting Type Description
Show Post Description On or Off Toggles the visibility of the full post description within the pop-up.
Show Post Timeline On or Off Toggles the visibility of the original social media timeline/source details (e.g., posted on Instagram, user handle).
Show Powered By On or Off Toggles the visibility of the "Powered By [Feefo]" attribution within the pop-up.
Show Share Button On or Off Toggles the visibility of the social media share button within the pop-up, allowing users to share the curated content.
Auto Play Video on Popup On or Off If the post is a video, toggles whether it begins playing automatically when the pop-up opens.
Mute Videos on Popup On or Off If videos auto-play, this toggles whether the video starts in a muted state by default.
