Introduction

The Gallery Tab settings allow you to define the fundamental presentation and behaviour of your entire Feefo Social display. This includes the visual style of individual content cards, the layout of the grid, filtering options, and media playback rules.

All settings below are located within the Gallery Tab of the Curate Dashboard.

 

Card Settings

These settings control the visual style and textual properties of the individual post containers ("Cards") that make up your gallery grid.

Setting Type Description
Card background colour Hex Code Sets the background color of each individual post card. Use a hex code (e.g., #FFFFFF).
Card text colour Hex Code Sets the color of the text displayed inside the card, such as the post caption or user information.
Card text size Size Selector Defines the font size for the text displayed on the card (e.g., small, medium, large, or a pixel value).
Card alignment Left, Centre, Right Controls the horizontal alignment of the text content within the card.
Card border Straight edge, Slight curve, Round Selects the corner radius style for the card borders: Straight edge (sharp corners), Slight curve, or fully Round (pill-shaped corners).
Card content words Number Defines the maximum number of words from the post caption that will be displayed on the card before being truncated.
Card Height Value/Unit Sets a fixed height for the cards. Used primarily when you need a uniform grid where all cards are the same size.
Card border colour Hex Code Sets the color of the border applied around each card.
Max Description Words Number Defines the maximum number of words from the product description that can be displayed on the card or overlay before being truncated.

 

Gallery Information

These settings control the structural and navigational properties of the gallery as a whole.

Setting Type Description
Name Text An internal-use field to set a descriptive name for this specific gallery configuration.
Post per page Number Defines the number of posts that load initially or display on each page before the user interacts with the pagination controls.
Columns 1-7 Defines the number of vertical columns in the gallery grid layout. Choose a number between 1 (list view) and 7 (dense grid).
Pagination Page number or Load more

Selects the method for loading additional content:

  • Page number: Uses standard numbered pages.
  • Load more: Displays a button that appends more content to the current view.
Post spacing Number/Unit Defines the gap (gutter) between individual post cards in the grid layout.

 

Filters

These settings enable or disable the display of filtering options that allow users to narrow down the content they are viewing.

Setting Options Description
Product ON or OFF Toggles the visibility of a product filter, allowing users to view content related to specific products.
Category ON or OFF Toggles the visibility of a category filter, allowing users to view content based on pre-defined content categories.

 

Video Settings

These settings control the playback behaviour and styling of videos within the gallery.

Setting Options Description
Video autoplay On or Off Toggles whether videos start playing automatically when they enter the user's viewport.
Video auto play frequency 1 or All If autoplay is On, this defines whether only the first visible video plays, or if all videos on the screen play simultaneously.
Show play button On or Off Toggles the visibility of the overlayed play icon on video content thumbnails.
Select play button design 2 designs Choose between the two available pre-designed styles for the play button icon.
Play Button Container Style Adapt CSS Use custom CSS to style the area/container surrounding the play button (e.g., shape, background).
Play Button Style Adapt CSS Use custom CSS to style the play icon itself (e.g., colour, size).

 

Sorting

These settings define the default order in which the posts are displayed in the gallery.

Setting Options Description
Sort by Date or Engagement

Selects the primary metric used to order the posts:

  • Date: Orders posts chronologically (newest or oldest first).
  • Engagement: Orders posts based on their popularity (likes, comments, etc.).
Sort order Ascending or descending

Defines the direction of the sorting:

  • Ascending: Smallest to Largest (e.g., Oldest Date, Lowest Engagement).
  • Descending: Largest to Smallest (e.g., Newest Date, Highest Engagement).
