Introduction

At Feefo, we understand the importance of showcasing your customer feedback in a way that aligns perfectly with your business needs. That's why we've developed the Widget Gallery, a convenient and user-friendly platform that allows you to filter, preview, and customise all your Feefo widgets in one centralised location.

 

Accessing the Widget Gallery

Getting started with the Widget Gallery is a breeze. 

  1. Log in to the Feefo Hub.
  2. Navigate to 'Display'
  3. Select 'Widget Gallery' to explore the full range of possibilities.

 

Filtering widgets

To discover the ideal widget for your business, we've equipped you with powerful filtering options. You can narrow down widgets based on various factors, including features, product and service ratings, and their potential impact on consumers, such as enhancing trust or boosting conversions.

To filter widgets, select the relevant tab that aligns with your specific requirements. You can combine multiple filter options by highlighting each desired option, enabling you to find widgets that match multiple criteria.

 

Choosing your widgets

With your list of widgets narrowed down, it's time to choose the ones best suited for your business. Keep in mind that there's no one-size-fits-all approach, as each business is unique.

We recommend experimenting with different widgets to maximise the impact of your Feefo reviews.

To assist you in making the right choices, each widget comes with a brief description, keyword filter tags, a preview image (activated when you hover your cursor over the icon), and an installation guide link.

Here is a list of the widgets and where best to place them:

Widget Description

On-Page

 Embeds live, schema-rich reviews directly into web pages (service or product), making review content available for visitors and search engines. Drives SEO benefits by enabling Google Rich Snippets.

Service: Use on a dedicated “Customer Reviews” or “Testimonials” page to enhance organic search rankings.
Product: Place on product detail pages for organic Product Review rich snippets (stars in Google).

Best Use: Maximise SEO and conversion on key navigational entry points.

Badges

 Simple, always-on badges for “Product” or “Service” ratings, with auto-updating scores and review counts. Customisable for colour, size, and click behaviour.

Service version shows “Service Rating” (site-wide).
Product version shows “Product Rating” (product-specific).

Best Use Cases:

Service: Site header or footer - visible trust signal on every page.
Product: Next to “Add to Basket” or purchase call-to-action—nudges buyers at the point of decision.
Product Stars Displays product star ratings in context—visible on category lists, catalogue, product grids, and search or collection pages. Integrates with grid templates; best for highlighting individual product reputations.

Best Use: Add to collection, category, and PDPs for in-context reassurance. Ideal for retail and e-commerce - drive higher CTR from product lists.
Slide-Out Reviews Tab A floating tab fixed to your webpage’s side, visible as visitors scroll. This continuous display provides one-click access to Feefo service scores at all times.

Best Use: Place on every page for always-on social proof. High impact on key conversion pages like product detail, checkout, and service landing pages.
Service Review Carousel  Place this widget on the home page above the fold to reinforce why customers should use you!
  • Single Review Carousel: One review shown at a time, rotates through five.
  • Average Customer Rating: Four most recent reviews visible.
  • Snapshot: Three most recent reviews at a glance.
Best Use: Place above the fold on your homepage or main service landing page to reinforce buyer trust at entry.
Media Gallery Displays customer-uploaded photos and videos of products/services in galleries or carousels. Choice of display modes, filter by rating, and options to share content in marketing channels.

Best Use: Display on product pages and “As Seen by Customers” sections—brings proof and personality to your offering, especially effective in e-commerce, lifestyle, and travel.
Feefo Places If a client collects reviews for your stores using Location Feedback, they can add a widget on the site to make it easier for their customers to leave a review by entering their code via this widget.

Addons

Widget Description
Highlighted Topic Widget Highlights trending review topics. Customisable groupings, displayed in carousels or targeted sections.

Best Use: Beneath product/service descriptions, in FAQs, or where buyer hesitation is highest—helps shoppers make decisions faster.
Highlighted Snippet Widget The Highlighted Snippet widget lets you showcase selected positive review excerpts on a fully customisable carousel. These snippets act as compelling proof points throughout the shopping journey, providing social proof precisely when customers are most likely to convert.​

Best Use:
Position at critical conversion points, such as basket/checkout pages, to reduce abandonment and reinforce trust.
Display beneath CTAs (such as “Buy Now” or “Book”) for persuasive last-minute motivation.
